Description

Special therapeutic effects along with special properties make sorbitol suitable for medicinal uses. Sorbitol has a stabilizing effect on suspensions, emulsions and creams and controls water retention and loss.

The immutability of sorbitol is used in syrups and its ductility is used in the production of gelatin capsules.

By directly compressing the sorbitol powder, the tablet is produced. Crushing of sorbitol tablets is very rare, even if pressed at low pressure.

It has 60% of sucrose sweetness, with one third less calories and leaves a sweet, cool and pleasant taste.
