Cetyl Palmitate

Description

Cetyl Palmitate is a white, crystalline, waxy, and almost odorless substance that is used as an emollient in cosmetics and the pharmaceutical industry.

Palmitates are made using palmitic acid, a natural fatty acid found in plants and animals, along with smaller amounts of other fatty acids. Cetyl Palmitate is naturally one of the main components of white wax and can be found in Stagorn coral.

Cetyl Palmitate is used in face masks, anti-aging products, colored cosmetics such as lipstick, lotions, creams, hair care products, moisturizers, cleansers, sunscreens, deodorants and eyeliners.

This conditioner is suitable for skin, emollient, emulsifier, thickener, removes skin oil and is used as a surfactant in shampoos.
